Ingredients
• Maida – 1 cup
• Egg – 1
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
• Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
• Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
• Salt – ¼ tsp
• Water if required
• Oil for deep frying
Method
• In a bow add egg, powder sugar and beat well
• Add maida, baking powder, turmeric powder, salt and oil mix well, knead make semi-soft dough
• Then cover it, leave it 1 hour.
• Then knead it again
• Make cylindrical log shape
• Divide into equal size portions
• Then make cross shape using knife
• Heat oil in a pan, drop it in hot oil, deep fry till golden brown on medium to low flame
