Kadai pizza/How to make pizza without yeast/easy and tasty pizza without oven

Ingredients

For the toppings
100 gms Paneer cut in cubes
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tbsp Oil
1 large Onion sliced
¼ cup Capsicum sliced
1 large Tomato sliced
¼ cup Sweet corn
1 1/2 cup sand or salt for baking the pizza

For the dough
1 cup Maida
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
¼ cup Fresh Yogurt
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp oil
Dry flour to roll the pizza base

For assembling the pizza
3 tbsp Pizza sauce
4 tbsp Pizza Cheese grated
1 tsp Pizza Herbs
Salt to taste

Method

For the toppings

1. In a large mixing bowl combine, paneer with salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and oil.

2. Give it a good mix, and ensure the paneer is well coated with the masala. Once done remove the paneer.

3. In the same mixing bowl add the onion and capsicum, sweet corn; mix them really well with the masala.

4. Preheat a pan over high heat and then add the paneer, and give it a quick toss for one minute, to get the smoky flavor in the paneer. Once done remove and set aside.

5. Add the onions and capsicum, sweet corn toss over high heat. Once done remove and set aside in a plate.

6. Add the sliced tomatoes to the onions and capsicum sweet corn and give it a stir. This will soften the tomatoes without getting mushy. Set aside.

7. Start chopping the onion, capsicum, sweet corn and tomatoes. You can leave the topping as it is if you like.

For the pizza base

1. In a large deep kadai, add the samd and make an even layer, place ring in the center. Cover the kadai and preheat it for 10 minutes over high heat.

2. In a large plate combine maida, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well.

3. Add fresh yogurt,milk and start kneading until you get soft dough.

4. Pour oil and continue to knead the dough until soft and pliable.

5. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Dust some dry flour on the rolling board and on the dough. Start rolling each portion of the dough into round pizza base. Depending on your pizza tray size. Use dry flour as and when required.

6. Once done place the dough on a plate using a fork, make holes on the pizza base, this will ensure that the pizza does not puff up unevenly.

For assembling

1. Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the pizza base, spread the grated cheese evenly.

2. Add the vegetable topping and then the paneer.

3. 1Sprinkle little pizza herbs and top it with more cheese.

4. Using a tong lift the tray and place it carefully on top of the katori, which is in the kadai.

5. Cover the kadai and bake the pizza for 10 minute over medium flame.

6. After 10 minutes the pizza is ready to be served.

Serve

Sprinkle pizza herbs and chilli flakes if you like. Slice the pizzas and serve hot.
