Instant Crispy Jilebi/Crispy jalebi at home/மொறு மொறு ஜிலேபி /Diwali sweet recipes
Description :
1. In a mixing bowl, add maida, corn flour, curd. then add vinegar ,food colour and water.mix well in round circular directions for 2 minutes.
2. now add baking soda and give a gentle mix.now pour this batter in the tomato ketchup bottles carefully.
3. heat oil in a pan and squeeze the bottle and make round spirals with the batter.
4. when one side is partly cooked, turn over and fry the other side.
fry till the jIlebis are a light golden.
5.then immediately drop the fried jalebis in the warm sugar syrup for 60 seconds (1 string consistency).
for sugar syrup:
¼ cup water
1 cup sugar
¼ tsp cardamom powder / elachi powder
half lemon juice
6. serve jilebis hot, warm or at room temperature.
