INGREDIENTS
Milk – ½ ltr
Cooked basmati rice – 1 cup
Cardamom – 3 nos
Sugar – ½ cup
Milk powder – 2 tbsp
Gulkand – 3 tbsp
Rose water – 1 tbsp
Method
1. Boil ½ ltr milk in nonstick kadai on medium flame.
2. Now add cardamom and cooked basmati rice. Mix it well.
3. Now add sugar and mix it well. Leave it and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes or till the mixture slightly thick.
4. Now add milk powder and mix it well. Milk powder will give good creamy consistency to the gulkand gheer. allow it boil for five minutes.
5. Now add rose water and gulkand. Mix it well.
6. Now switch off the flame.
7. Our delicious gulkand gheer is ready to eat. Serve chill or hot.
Note:
1. Add roasted almond, pista and cashew. It’s your wish. It will give good crunchy bite to gulkand gheer.
