Method
1. Slice the onions lengthwise and add it to a bowl. Add slit green chilies, Chili powder, Hing, Oil, curry leaves coriander leaves (finely chopped) and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
2. Add besan and rice flour to the onions and mix well.
3. Once you are ready to fry sprinkle a very little amount of water, just enough to bind them together.Do not add too much of water, if we add more water then it will not be crispy and taste like bajji.
4. Heat oil in a kadai and once the oil is nice and hot deep fry them in small batches.Once it turns nice and crispy drain the excess oil and take it off from the oil.
That’s it our crispy Onion Pakkoda is ready to be served with a cup of hot tea/ coffee!!!!.
