Description :

INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups coconut (fresh)
• 200 ml milk
• 1 cup sugar
• 50 ml milk maid
• 1tsp cardamom powder
• 3 tbsp fried coconut
• 1 tbsp ghee

Method

1. In a large kadai take 2 cups coconut (fresh) fry it for 2 minutes. Reserve 3 tbsp coconut for garnishing.

2. Now add milk and mix well making sure the coconut gets wet completely.

3. now add sugar and milk maid. add more sugar for sweetness if required.

4. mix continuously keeping the flame on low.

5. sugar starts to melt and mixture turns watery.

6. keep stirring keeping the flame on low.

7. milk starts to evaporates after 20 minutes and mixture turns crumbly.

8. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

9. cool the mixture for 10 minutes or till they lightly cool down
10. Prepare small balls to form ladoo.

11. roll it with fried coconut. this is optional, however makes ladoo more attractive.

12. serve coconut ladoo or store in a airtight container for a week.
