Ingredients
For Dough
• All purpose flour – 2 Cup
• Milk – 1/4 Cup To activate yeast
• Sugar – 3 Tsp
• Active Dry Yeast – 1 tsp
• Water – 1/4 Cup Adjust as needed
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 3 Tbsp
• Egg – 1 no
• Sesame seeds – 1 tsp (optional)
For Stuffing
• Ghee – 1 tsp
• Cashew – 10 roughly chopped
• Grated coconut – 1 Cup
• Sugar – 1/4 Cup
• Tutti frutti – 1 Cup

Method
1. First we will start with the dough preparation. Warm the milk and add 1 Tsp of sugar to it and completely dissolve the sugar. Now add the yeast to the milk and dissolve the yeast and keep aside. Now take the flour in a large mixing bowl, add the water, sugar, salt, oil and the prepared yeast-milk.
2. Now mix them together to form a smooth dough. Sprinkle additional water in case the dough is too stiff. Cover the dough with plastic cling wrap and let it to rest in a warm place for 1 hour.
3. Mean while we will start with the stuffing preparation. Heat a pan with ghee, add the cashews, add the grated coconut and saute for 1-2 minutes.
4. Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down for 10 minutes. After cooling, add the sugar and tutti frutti and mix thoroughly. Stuffing is now ready.
5. By now, the rested dough would have increased in size. Again knead the dough slightly. In aluminum bowl grease it with butter or oil. Now divide the dough into two equal parts.
6. Using rolling pin, roll them into a circle with 1/2 “ inch thickness and placed it in greased tray. Spread the filling over that.
7. Cover it with another rolled dough and seal the edges properly so that the fillings doesn’t come out while baking.
8. Cover the sealed buns in warm place for another 15 minutes for raising.
9. Before baking, brush the buns with beaten egg for the extra softness.
10. Preheat the cooker. Fill the cooker with sand upto 1 1/2 inches and place the plate or any stand on top of it.
11. Place the coconut bun tin inside the preheated cooker and now slow down the flame and cook on a low flame around 40-45 minutes, Or until coconut bun cooked well.
12. Remove from the cooker, brush the buns with butter for the glossy finish.
13. allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
Milk to dissolve yeast should be warm. If it is hot, it will kill the yeast. If it is cold, the yeast might not activate.
Dough should be soft and smooth, so adjust the water quantity accordingly.
Do not add the sugar to the stuffing while it is hot. Let the stuffing get cooled for 10 minutes before adding the sugar.
