Description :

Method

1. Marinate the ½ kg chicken by adding 2 onion, 3 tomatoes, ¼ cup yogurt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 2 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp garam masala powder; 3 green chilies, hand full coriander leaves, mint leaves and lemon juice from 1 lemon mix it nicely.
Marinate it for half an hour.

2. In a pan heat 3 tbsp oil and once it heats well, add 1 cinnamon
stick, 3 cardamom, 4 cloves, 1 mac, 1 bay leaf, 1 tsp fennel
seeds, 1 tsp pepper corns saute for a minute

3. Add the marinated chicken into the pan and mix well, then add
½ cup water. Cover it with a lid and cook on medium flame till
its done

4.In a pan add 1 tbsp ghee once it heats up add 1 cinnamon stick,
3 cardamom, 4 cloves, 1 star anise, 1 bay leaf, lower the flame
and add 4 cups of water and salt

5. Add the 1 ½ cup washed and soaked basmati rice to the boiling water and let it cook on high flame. When it’s 3/4th cooked drain the rice.

6. Place rice into the chicken, and add coriander and mint leaves.
Cover with lid on it and cook it on low flame for 10 minutes.

7. Chicken Biryani is ready to be served
