Butter chicken in tamil/பட்டர் சிக்கன்/chicken makhani/Restaurant style butter chicken

Ingredients
For the chicken
250 gms Chicken boneless
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp Red chilli powder
1 lemon juice
Salt to taste
Oil to pan fry
For the gravy
3 roughly slit tomatoes
3 roughly cut onions
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
10 cashew nuts
1 tsp garam masala
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
4 tbsp butter
1/4 cup fresh cream
1.5 tbsp White Vinegar
Salt to taste
Method
1. Marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder lemon and salt and keep it aside for 30 minutes
2. In a pan heat some oil then fry the marinated chicken pieces in it,once done place it into a bowl.
3. in the same pan add onion, oil, 2 tbsp of butter and once the onions are cooked add ginger garlic paste and cashew nuts
3. Add tomatoes, salt, vinegar, sugar, garam masala powder and chilli powder. Evenly mix it and add 1/2 cup water mix it well cover and cook for 3 minutes
4. Churn the mixture into fine puree.
5. add ground masala into the same pan .
6. Add butter, cream and fried chicken and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes.
7. Garnish it with cream.
8. Butter Chicken is ready to be served!
