Ingredients
• Bread Slices – 8 slices
• Milk – 1.5 cup
• Sugar – ¼ cup
• Eggs – 2
• Butter – 3 tbsp
• Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
• Sugar – ½ cup (for caramel)
• Water – 3 tbsp
• Ghee – 1 tbsp
Method
1. Take a baking pan, grease with some ghee.
2. In a kadai add ½ cup sugar and 3 tbsp water mix it well. Cook till get nice caramel colour. Dont burn the sugar.
3. Pour caramel in baking pan and allow it to cool completely.
4. Take bread, milk, sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla essence in a blender and puree till smooth.
5. Pour the prepared mixture on top of the caramel.
6. Cover the pan with foil or plastic wrap and place it in a cooker and cook for 40 to 45 mins. (don’t put whistle)
7. Remove it and insert a knife to check whether the cake is done or not.
8. Our tastiest bread pudding is ready to eat. Slice and serve.
