Amla rice in tamil/Nellikai rice/Healthy Goose berry rice/ஆரோக்கியமான நெல்லிக்காய் சாதம்

INGREDIENTS:
Gooseberry/Amla/Nellikai – 10 nos (remove the seeds)
Coriander leaves – fist ful
Green chillies – 3 nos
Boiled rice – 1 cup
Salt To taste
Mustard seeds -1 tsp,
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Dry red chilly -3 nos
Urad dal -1 tsp
Chana dal -1 tsp
Ground nut -2 tbsp
Onion – 1no
Curry leaves – 2 springs
Sesame oil- 2 tbsp
METHOD:
1. Take a mixie jar and add gooseberry pieces, coriander leaves and green chilies blend into a smooth paste.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chili, urad dal, chana dal, ground nut, curry leaves and saute it.
3. Add onion and sauté well till turns golden.
4. Then add salt, gooseberry paste and saute it.
5. Then add cooked rice and mix it well.
6, Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it.
