ஸ்வீட் கார்னில் இப்படி ஒரு பக்கோடாவா / Sweet corn pakkoda
Description :
INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup sweet corn kernels
• 1 onion
• Small piece of ginger
• 4 green chilies
• 1 tsp fennel seeds
• 1 tsp garam masala powder
• 2 tbsp besan flour
• 2 tbsp rice flour
• pinch of hing
• few curry leaves, chopped
• few coriander leaves chopped
• salt
• oil for deep frying
Method
1. In a mixie jar take sweet corn kernels, ginger and green chilies. Grind coarsely (one or two pulse enough) without adding water. Transfer to large mixing bowl.
2. now add chopped onion, fennel seeds, garam masala powder, besan flour, rice flour, pinch of hing, few curry leaves, coriander leaves, 2 tbsp of sweet corn kernels and salt.
3. combine and mix well without adding any water.
4. add more besan if required and form a dough.
5. now drop the corn pakoda mixture, making rough balls into hot oil.
6. stir occasionally, and fry on medium flame.
7. fry till the pakoda turns crispy and golden.
8. serve crispy corn pakoda with masala chai.
