மனமான சுவையான கொத்தமல்லி புலாவ் / Coriander pulao

Description :

Ingredients

• Basmati Rice – 1 cup
• Ginger – small piece
• Garlic – 7 pods
• Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
• salt
• Green chilli – 3 nos
• Onion – 2 nos
• Tomato – 1 no
• Cinnamon – 1 no
• Marati mokku – 1 no
• Javithri – 1 no
• Star anise – 1 no
• Cloves – 4 nos
• Cardamom – 3 nos
• Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
• Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• Peppercorns – 1 tsp
• Oil – 4 tbsp

Method

• Wash and soak the rice for half hour. keep aside.

• In a mixie, grind ginger, garlic, green chilli and coriander leaves, tomato to a fine paste.

• In a biryani pot, heat oil and add the cardamom, cinnamon, star anise, javithri, marati mokku, cloves, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and peppercorn and fry till they splutter.

• Add chopped onion, fry till it becomes transparent.

• Add the ground paste, fry till the oil separates.

• Add the soaked rice with 2 cup of water mix well.

• Add required salt mix well and close the lid and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.

• Our coriander pulao is ready serve hot with raita or kurma

Note:

If you cook pressure cooker means

Pressure cook for 2 whistle and keep in a very low flame for 5 minutes.
