நேந்திரம் பழ அல்வா / Nenthira pazham halwa / Banana halwa / Banana vattiyathu / Banana sheera

Ingredient
• Banana (Nenthra pazham] – 5 [Fully ripped]
• Ghee – 5 tbsp
• Powdered Jaggery – 1 cup
• Sugar – 1 cup
• Cashew Nut-10 nos
• Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Method
• Peel off the banana skin and grind to a smooth puree
• In a wide kadai add 1 tbsp of ghee and roast cashew nuts till turn golden brown. keep it aside.
• In the same pan add banana puree, powdered jaggery and sugar. Sauté for 3 minutes and till the banana tender.
• Add ghee & stir continuously till the mixture becomes thick / start leaving the pan.
• Now add cardamom powder and roasted cashews. Mix it well.
• Switch off the flame. Pour the mixture in ghee greased tray. Garnish with roasted cashews. Allow to cool completely.
• Keep it in refrigerator for half hour. This step will give nice texture to halwa.
• Then cut it your favorite shape.
• Our delicious banana halwa is ready to eat!!!!!!!!!!!! serve cold / warm / hot as your wish.
