Ingridients
Boiled rice – 1 cup
Citron juice – (from one citron ) 5 tbsp or as required
Oil – 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Chana dal – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Red chilies – 7 nos
Roasted peanut – 1 tbsp
Onion – 1 no
Green chilies – 2 nos
Curry leaves – 2 spring
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Method
1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds, chana dal, Urad dal, red chilies, roasted peanut and curry leaves saute well turn light golden brown.
2. now add onion, green chilies, turmeric powder and salt saute till onion turns golden brown.
3. now add the cooked rice , citron juice and coriander leaves mix well and saute for one minute.
4. switch off the flame. donot cook more than one minute. because citron will give bitter taste to rice.
5. Our healthy citron rice is ready.
