சிக்கனை விரும்பி சாப்பிடுபவரா அப்ப இந்த மாதிரி செய்து பாருங்க / Spicy chicken chinthamani
Description :
INGREDIENTS
• 500 grams chicken without bone,
• 4 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 cup shallots, chopped
• 10 dry red chillies (seeds removed)
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp vinegar
• Salt to taste
• 2 sprigs curry leaves
• 4 tbsp fresh chopped coconut
• 1 tsp garam masala powder
• 3 green chilies
• Coriander leaves
METHOD
1. Clean and wash the chicken. Cut the chicken into small sized pieces. Add turmeric powder and salt mix well and marinate for ½ hour.Set aside.
2. Heat sesame oil in the pan. Add in the shallots and fry till the onions are soft.
3. Add in the slit dried red chillies (seeds removed) sauté well and add the marinated chicken pieces.
4. Add vinegar and salt mix well.
5. Add 2 tbsp of water. Mix well to combine.
6. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook in medium flame for 10 minutes. Stir once a while so the chicken does not scorch at the bottom.
7. remove the lid and fry for 5 minutes until the chicken is almost dry.
8. Add in the fresh chopped coconut, green chilies, curry leaves, garam masala powder and coriander leaves. saute for a couple of minutes.
9. Our spicy chicken chinthamani is ready.
10. Serve hot as a side dish with rice.
NOTES
As the dried red chillies are used without the seeds, only the flavor will be imparted. It will not be spicy.
If you want a really hot chinthamani, add red chilli with seed.
