ஐந்தே நிமிடத்தில் செய்யலாம் சுவையான ரிப்பன் பக்கோடா / Besan flour pakoda

INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups besan flour / kadalai mavu
• 2 cups rice flour / arisi mavu
• 1 tsp sesame seeds
• 1 tsp ajwain or cumin seeds
• 2 tsp red chilli powder
• pinch of hing / asafoetida
• salt as required
• 4 tbsp butter
• Water as required
• ribbon pakoda mould / achu
• oil for deep frying
Method
1. In a large mixing bowl take rice flour and besan flour.
2. also add sesame seeds, ajwain,chilli powder, butter, pinch of hing and salt.
3. combine all the ingredients well.
4. mix well and crumble the dough well between your hands.
5. add water little by little and start to knead the dough.
6. knead the dough to smooth, non sticky and soft dough.
7. take ribbon pakoda mould and fix to the chakli maker.
8. now make a cylindrical shape out of dough and place the dough inside maker.
9. also tighten the lid and heat the oil.
10. directly press the ribbon murukku into hot oil moving hand in circular motion.
11. flip the murukku and fry till they turn golden brown and crispy from both sides.
12. drain them to the paper towel to remove excess oil.
13. Our ribbon pakoda is ready. Serve with masala tea.
