Description :
INGREDIENTS
• 2 cup coconut, grated
• 2 tsp ghee
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 2 tbsp roasted gram
• 10 cashew nuts (break into two piece)
• 1 tsp cardamom powder
Method
1. In a large kadai Heat 1 tsp ghee and add freshly grated coconut sauté for few minutes.
2. Add milk and mix well on medium flame until milk absorb completely.
3. Add roasted gram, cashew nuts & cardamom powder mix well.
4. continue to cook on medium flame stirring continuously.
5. Now add sugar and mix well until sugar dissolves completely.
6. the mixture starts to thicken after 15 minutes.
7. After 15 minutes coconut mixture will start to separate from pan.
8. Add 1 tsp ghee and mix well.
9. transfer the prepared dough into a greased plate.
10. set well forming a block.
11. allow to set for 1 hour, or till it sets completely yet warm.
12. now unmould and cut into pieces.
13. Our coconut burfi is ready to serve.
14. store in airtight container for a 3 to 4 days.
