Ingredients
• 1 Cup cooked basmati rice
• 1 cup cooked chick peas / Konda kadalai / Chana
• 3 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp mustard seeds
• 1 tsp urad dal
• 1 tsp chana dal
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• curry leaves
• 1 tbsp ginger (finely chopped)
• 2 pods garlic (finely chopped)
• 4 green chilies
• 2 onion
• 1 tsp pepper powder
• salt to taste
• coriander leaves
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
2. Now add urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Saute them well.
3. Add green chilies and onion sauté till the onion turn transparent.
4. Add pepper powder and salt mix well.
5. Now add cooked chick peas and sauté few minutes.
6. Add cooked basmati rice. Turn around a few times so the rice is completely mixed.
7. Add coriander leaves to the rice and mix well.
8. Serve hot.
