Masala Vadai / Paruppu Vadai
Description :
Ingredients: Yellow Split Peas / Pattani Paruppu – 1 cup, small onion – 20-25 or 1 big onion , green chillies – 4-5, ginger – 1″ piece, fennel seeds – 1tsp, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt – to taste.
Procedure: Soak the peas/paruppu for 2 hours and drain it well and grind it to a coarse paste and add the chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, fennel seeds, salt and mix well. Form round balls and then flatten it and fry in hot oil till golden brown and serve.
