Ingrdients:
Maida (all purpose flour) – 2 cups
Sugar – 1.5 cups
Yellow food colour – a pinch
Method :
1. Mix the yellow food colour with the maida and add enough water to prepare a soft dough and allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
2. Then prepare small ball shapes from the prepared dough amd roll it into a thin circle approximately 5-6 inches in diameter.
3. After rolling all the balls we can start frying it one by one. Hold the rolled dough in your hand and fold it into a semicircle. Hold the folded edge in your finger and combine the top and bottom of the straight line in the semicircle and seal it well and drop it in hot oil.
4. Fry for a minute, until crispy and remove. Repeat until all the dough is finished and keep it ready.
5. Add the sugar and 1/2 cup of water in a pan and prepare single string consistency sugar syrup (when u touch a drop of it with your index finger and tap it with your thumb, you should get a string like structure, between your thumb and index finger).
6. Switch off the flame once you get the single string consistency and immediately using a spoon, pour 2 to 3 tablespoons of it on each of the fried snack one by one covering it on all side and allow to set in a tray.
7. Serve once it is all dried up and crispy.
