Ingedients: For frying: Baby corn – 300g, corn flour – 1 cup, plain flour – 1/2 cup, ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp, salt – 1/2 tsp, white pepper powder – 1/2 tsp, aji-no-moto – 1/3 tsp, chilli powder – 1/3 tsp, orange food colour – a pinch. For the Manchurian: onion – 2 medium size, finely chopped ginger and garlic – 1 tbsp each, salt – 1/2 tsp, white pepper powder – 1/2 tsp, aji-no-moto – 1/3 tsp,soya sauce – 1tbsp, chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
Procedure: Mix all the ingredients for frying, except baby corn and add enough water to prepare a thick batter and dip the baby corn in it and drop in hot oil and fry till cooked and crispy and keep aside. Next add 2 tbsp of oil in a separate pan and add the chopped ginger and garlic and fry until golden and add the chopped onion and fry for another minute and add all the other ingredients for Manchurian along with the prepared baby corn fry and mix well.
