மைசூர் போண்டா – 5 நிமிடத்தில் தயார் – தமிழ் / Mysore Banda – Tamil
Description :
Ingredients: (to serve 2-3 people)
Maida (all purpose flour) – 1 cup
Rice flour – 3 tablespoons
Yoghurt / curd – 1/4cup
Onion – 3 tablespoons (finely chopped)
ginger – 1 teaspoon (finely chopped)
green chillies – 1/2 teaspoon (finely chopped)
cumin seeds (jeera) – 3/4 teaspoon
Baking soda / Soda salt – 1/4 teaspoon
salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Method:
1. Add all the ingredients except yoghurt in a large bowl and mix together.
2. Next add the yoghurt and combine to form a batter by adding additional water as required (approximately 1/4 cup).
3. Prepare the mixture in a vada batter consistency and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
4. Heat oil in a pan and add the prepared mixture using a spoon or hand into round vadas and fry till golden brown and remove.
5. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
