DOSAKAYA SAMBARA PULUSU : Malllika Bardinath Recipe | Andhra Style

INGREDIENTS:
Yellow cucumber (round one) – 1
Finely cut onions- 1 small cup (katorie)
Tamarind extract
Sambhar powder- 2 tsp
Salt – as req
Grated jaggery- little
Oil- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds- ¼ tsp
Black gram dhal- 1 tsp
Bengal gram dhal- 1 ½ tsp
Curry leaves- 1 spring
METHOD:
1. Slice dosakaya to broad thin piece.
2. Take a pressure pan, pour thin tamarind extract, add onions, dosa kaya, salt, sambhar powder, jaggery together and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
3. Heat oil, add seasonings and pour over. Boil once it is thin. Mash one or two pieces add it to boiling gravy to thicken. Serve with cooked rice.
