Cabbage Vada | How to make Cabbage Vada recipe

Ingredients

Cabbage – 1 cup grated
Chana Dal – 250 ml (soaked 2 hours)
Red chili – 2 nos
Fennel seeds – 1 Tsp
Chopped Onion
Chopped Ginger
Green chili – 2 nos chopped
Curry leaves
Salt

Method

Soak the chana dal for 2 hours
Add it to a micer jar, add red chilies, fennel seeds, salt
Grind it coarsely
In a bowl, take the chana dal mixture, add onions, green chilies, curry leaves, ginger, grated cabbage
Mix everything well
Add salt and mix well
Heat some oil for deep frying, take some of the vada mixture and flatten it and shape it
Slowly drop the vadas into the hot oil
Deep fry them till they are golden brown in color
Serve the Cabbage Vada hot with some chutney
