Crispy Murukku Chakli Recipe | कुरकुरीत मुरुक्कू बनवण्याची पद्धत | Diwali Special Recipe | Smita

मुरुक्कु किंवा मुरुकुलू हा एक तळलेला नाश्ता आहे जो तांदूळ पीठ आणि डाळ मैदाने बनलेला आहे. चकली, चाकुली, चक्रू, आणि जांटिकलु ही इतर भारतीय नावे आहेत

Murukku or Murukulu is a deep-fried snack made with Rice Flour and Dal Flour. Chakli, Chakuli, Chakralu, and Jantikalu are the other Indian names to these. It is specially made during DIWALI, and it can be eaten as a Tea-Time Snack in the morning.

Ingredients:
(Serves 4)
– 1 cup Rice Flour
– 4 tbsp Split Black Gram Flour
– 1 tsp Carom Seeds
– 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
– Asafoetida
– 1 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
– Salt
– 1 tbsp Oil
– Water
– Oil( for frying)

Method:
1. Take rice flour in a big bowl, and add split black gram flour, carom seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida, red chilli powder, salt
2. Mix it all together, and add oil to it
3. Mix it and with the help of some water knead it, to make a dough
4. Now, put the dough through a chakli mold and make the murukku
5. On a medium flame, fry these murukkus and after 4-5 minutes take it out in a plate
