Ingredients
For Masala
Onion – 2 nos
Chopped Tomato – 2 nos
Cumin Seeds -1 tsp
Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Chili Powder – 2 tsp
Cashew Nuts
Chopped Ginger
Chopped Garlic
Cardamom
Cinnamon
Clove
Salt
Water
Butter
For Cooking
Makhana – 50 gms
Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
Onion – 1 no
Fresh Cream
Coriander Leaves

Method
Heat butter in a pan, add the makhanas/ fox nuts
Roast them till they are crispy
Heat some butter in a saucepan, add the whole spices, ginger, garlic, green chilies and saute
Add cashew nuts, onions, salt and saute the onions till they are golden brown
Add tomatoes and saute along
Add turmeric powder, chili powder and saute
Once the masala is cooked, cool them
Grind it to a fine paste by adding some water
To the same saucepan, add butter, garam masala, onions and saute
Once the onions are cooked, add the ground masala paste, add 1 cup of water
Simmer the gravy for few minutes
After few minutes, add the roasted makhanas
Mix well and let it boil
The Makhana curry is done, serve it hot with fresh cream and coriander leaves
