Description :

Method

1. Dry roast toor dal and chana dal on medium flame stirring continuously, until it turns golden brown. Add peppercorns, red chillies, curry leaves and fry for a few minutes. add roasted gram and fry for few more minutes Leave it to cool.

2. Dry roast garlic separately. If you do not like garlic flavor, use less garlic.

3. Add Hing then grind everything together coarsely with salt needed.

This podi is very delicious with hot steamed rice topped with a tsp of ghee.
