Description :
Caldine (Caldinha) is a yellow non spicy coconut milk curry. Its usually made with fish but some people make it with pumpkin, bottle gourd or cauliflower with or without addition of prawns. This recipe is perfect for vegetarian people because i’ve not added prawns in it. It goes well with rice or pao (Goan bread).

■ Ingredients & Quantity
Cauliflower (Cut into florets) – 1/4 kg
Coconut (Grated) – 1 cup
Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Garlic cloves – 5
Ginger – 1/2 inch
Cloves – 8
Cinnamon stick – 1/2 inch
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Onion (chopped) – 2
Tomato (chopped) – 1
Dried red chillies – 2
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
Rice (washed) – 2 tbsp (to make the gravy little thick)
