Upma, uppumavu or uppittu is a dish from the Indian subcontinent, most common in South Indian breakfast; cooked as a thick porridge from dry roasted semolina and Various seasonings, vegetables are often added during the cooking, depending on individual preferences. Today it is popular in most parts of India and is prepared in various ways.

Ingredients Needed are:

Bansi Rava – 1 cup
Beans, Carrot, Peas, Pototo – 1cup
Green chille – 5/6 nos
Curry leaves – few
Cinnamon – 1 inches
Cloves – 4 nos
Vangibath Powder – 1 and 1/2 tbsp
Grated Coconut – 3/4 tbsp
Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
Lemon – 1 no
Miustrad seeds – 1/2 tsp
Channa dal – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Cashews – 5/6 nos
Ginger – 1inch
Oil – 2 tbsp
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Water – 2 and 1/2 cup
salt
