Description :

This is prepared using Bele kattu. It is a type of rasam Prepared using water strained from the cooked dal used for making Oorna or Stuffing for preparing Obattu or holige. The separated dal is used to make Holige and Leftover water is used to prepare Rasam.
Enjoy this rasam with hot rice,Obattu and ghee.

Ingredients needed are
Pepper corns – 3/4 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Red chillies – 4
onion – 1 chopped
Curry leaves – few
Garlic – 10 pods
Small tomato – 1
Coriander Leaves – few
Grated coconut – 1 small cup
Soaked Tamrind – Amla sized
Dhaniya Powder – 1 tsp
Oorna(Cooked dal and jaggery mix) – 2 tbsp
Salt
Oil

For Tempering
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Red chilly – 1
Curry Leaves – Few
