Spicy Pepper Chicken Fry

Description :

Ingredients

To cook chicken
Chicken – ½ kgms (clean and cut into medium pieces)
Garlic crushed – One bulb.
Ginger crushed – 1 nos.
Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp.
Salt – as needed.

For the masala
Green chilly – as needed.
Ginger – 1 nos.
Garlic crushed – One bulb.
Shallots crushed – 4 nos.
Curry leaves – as needed.
Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp.
Pepper powder – 1 ½ tbsp.
Lemon juice – ½ of a lemon.

Method

Mix all the ingredients listed under ‘to cook the chicken ’. Add enough water to cook. Cover and cook at medium flame. Open the lid and boil till all the water is evaporated.

Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add garlic, shallots, ginger, green chilly and curry leaves. Saute till fried.

Turn heat to medium. Add turmeric powder, saute for a couple of minutes.

Add pepper powder. Stir till fried.

Add cooked chicken and garam masala. Turn heat to high. Add lemon juice. Mix well.

Turn heat to medium. Fry the chicken by stirring occasionally.

Move to a serving bowl and enjoy!!!
