Sooji laddu is very easy and quick recipe, we can it in 2 tsp ghee only and can store for one week.
Ingredients –
1 cup sooji / rava / semolina
1 cup powdered sugar (pisi chini)
1/2 cup desiccated coconut (sukha nariyal boora)
1/2 cup fresh malai
1/4 cup luke warm milk
2 tbsp raisins (kishmish)
2 tbsp chopped cashews
Cardamom powder
Method –
Add 1 tbsp ghee in a pan, add 1 cup sooji and roast for 5-6 minutes on low flame.
Add 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut and roast for a minute on low flame.
Add raisins, cashews in roasted sooji and roast for 30 seconds.
Add 1 cup powdered sugar in roasted sooji and mix on low flame for a minute.
Add 1/2 cup of fresh malai and mix nicely. Add 1/2 cup of fresh malai and mix nicely.
Switch off the flame, mix cardamom powder. Allow to cool completely.
Add 1/4 cup luke warm milk and mix nicely.
Prepare laddu from the sooji mixture. Mouth-watering sooji laddus are ready to enjoy.
