Let’s see how to make tea time tasty rava cake today. It turns out nice, soft, fluffy and spongy. You can cut it easily and it is nice and moist. With Christmas round the corner, you must be looking for some delicious cake recipes. Here I am to help you out with this easy and simple rava cake recipe. We already have seen 2-3 rava cake recipes. This is yet another simple yet delicious addition to the list. This turns out perfectly like the one that we get in Bangalore bakery or Bangalore Iyengar bakery. Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Curd
• 3/4 cup powdered Sugar
• 1/2 cup melted Ghee
• 1 cup Milk
• 1 cup fine Rava / Suji
• 1/2 cup Wheat flour
• 1/2 tsp Baking powder
• 1/4 tsp Baking soda
• A pinch of Salt
• 2~3 drops Vanilla essence

Method:
• Mix curd, powdered sugar and ghee well and beat the mixture really good.
• You can use oil in place of ghee.
• Add milk and mix well.
• Add rava and mix well.
• Make sure you use fine rava only and not a coarse one.
• Cover and rest the batter for about 30 minutes.
• Sieve wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together into the wet mixture and mix
well.
• You can use maida in place of wheat flour.
• Add vanilla essence and mix well.
• You can use cardamom powder if you want.
• Line up a baking tin with butter paper and pour the batter into it.
• Tap the tray well and spread the batter evenly.
• You can bake the cake in cooker or kadhai.
• Preheat the cooker or kadhai on medium heat for 5 minutes and place a stand at the base.
• Place the cake tin of the stand and close the lid.
• Bake the cake on medium heat for about 30-35 minutes.
• Bake the cake in oven at 180 Deg C for about 40-45 minutes.
• Check the cake with tooth pick. If it comes out clean, it means the cake is baked well.
• Loosen the edges with the help of knife and flip the cake over into a dish. Rava cake is ready.
• It has a shelf life of about 4-5 days.
