Most of the food here are made keeping the Indian Palette in consideration to keep the recipe as authentic as possible, although these food may be what any SouthAsian may relish .It’s important to keep in mind the spices used must be taken into account by the viewer and cook according to there threshold, preference and health conditions.

With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare

Semiya Payasam
Ingredients
Semiya / vermicelli — 1 cup
water — 1 cup
Milk –1 cup
Cashews — 15
Raisins — 15
Sugar – 3/4th cups
Ghee — 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder — 1/4th tsp
Procedure:
Take a kadai, pour ghee ,when ghee is heated add cashews and raisins and when they change the color,remove them and put on a plate.
To the remaining ghee add semiya/vermicelli and saute for a while.when the vermicelli turns brown color add water and cook the vermicelli till it becomes soft,
once its cooked soft add milk and bring it to a boil and simmer it till thickens.Now add sugar and cardamom powder and mix till the sugar dissolves completely
and add cashews and raisins and mix well and serve it hot.
