  • Made for the first time. Many thanks for the recipe and your instructions!
    Since I didn't have a weighing machine, it was good that I had similar sized bowls used by you Akshu.

    Noting down few things I changed so next so I can remember these.

    1. Used 1.25 cups of table sugar ground fine (and half tsp of corn flour). Since I read this incorporates easily.
    2. After making the soft stiff peaks, added a 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar, and same amount salt and cardamom powder and beat some more. The cardamom flavor was quite subtle.
    Unfortunately I think there was too much egg whites in the recipe, after cooking, they got flattened a lot.

  • thanks for the recipe…I my native mangalore we get cashew macaroons which are pink in colour with tiny bits of cashew and also a little rose essence is added…
