Super Tasty Creamy Alur Dom Recipe #IndependenceDay Special

Today, in this Independence Day special episode, I am creating this mouth-watering dish, Creamy Alur Dom using MAGGI Masala-Ae-Magic.
This Alur Dom Recipe is a Bengali niramish recipe which means it is without onion and garlic. Aloo Dum is a special Bengali Recipe made with baby potatoes. It is best enjoyed with luchi, roti or paratha.
Ingredients:
1. MAGGI Masala-ae-Magic
2. Aloo / Potato
3. Mustard Oil
4. Bay Leaf
5. Cumin Seeds
6. Garam Masala
7. Tomato (Chopped)
8. Red Chilli Powder
9. Turmeric Powder
10. Salt
11. Sugar
12. Water
13. Green Chillies (Slit)
14. Fresh Cream
15. Chopped Coriander Leaves
16. Ginger Paste
How To Make Aloo Dum Recipe:
Step 1 – Prepare ingredients a mentioned in the list.
Step 2 – Heat the oil in a karahi, fry the potatoes till they turn light brown. Remove and keep aside. To the rest of the oil, add the bay leaf, garam masala and jeera, allow to splutter.
Step 3 – Add the chopped tomatoes, ginger paste 1 tsp, turmeric, red chili powder, add some water and fry till the tomatoes turn mushy and soft. Add salt as per your taste.
Step 4 – Add the potatoes, mix well and cook for 4 minutes. Add water, cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes. Add MAGGI Masala-ae-Magic, slitted green chilies and sugar. mix it well and sauté for 2 minutes.
5. Just before serving add fresh cream and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with roti, luchi or parathas.
