1 cup hesaru bele/split green gram/moong dal
1 tbsp coconut oil or any cooking oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder/ cumin seeds powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 onion
1 tomato
1 inch fresh ginger
~6 green chilies
chopped coriander leaves
curry leaves
2 tsp rock salt or salt to taste
1/4 tsp jeerigemenasina pudi (Optional)
juice of 1.5 to 2 limes
