vermicelli kesari
break the semiya by pressing the pack
breaking like this is easy to measure
2Tbs ghee
10 cashews & raisins
fry golden brown and take out
1cup Thin vermicelli
roast in sim flame till golden brown
dont burn
1 1/2 cup water
pinch of salt
1/2tsp cardamom powder
add roasted semiya to boiling water
semiya should cook well
check if it is cooked
few drops of color of your choice
3/4cup sugar
(1/2cup is enough if you prefer mild sweet)
let the sugar melt
2tsp ghee
Note:Dont cook for long time after
adding sugar.If it is overcooked
kesari becomes sticky and semiya turns chewy
when semiya blends well with sugar,
off the stove add fried nuts
this flowing consistency is correct.It becomes
thick when it becomes warm
Do try this yummy quick dessert
Lets move on to next dessert which is also
quick and easy to prepare
3cups milk
1/2cup rava
add rava to boiling milk.stir continuously
Let the rava cook well
1cup water
pouring consistency is perfect for kheer
Rose sharbat (syrup)3/4cup
If you dont prefer flavor for kheer,
you can just add 1cup sugar instead of rose syrup
rose syrup has sugar in it so
i am not adding sugar anymore
check taste and add syrup if needed
i added 1/2cup initially and then tasted ,
again added 1/4cup syrup.totally 3/4cup rose syrup
2tsp ghee
10 cashews,raisins
add to kheer
