  • Madam Dr khader says we should eat only millets…is this good for health?

  • Quinoa is marketing gimmick like Instant Oats. But millet is good. Instead of Quinoa we can use Barley which is more healthier. I always use Ragi, Barley, Wheat, Steelcut oats. Instant oats, Corn flakes, Muesli are promoted as alternative in advertisements only. Barely and Steel cut oats porridge is very good break fast than millets.

  • I am a fitness freak, I include both quinoa & millets both in my families diet as you said weekly once. Excess of anything is not good. Quinoa usually best as breakfast. I have shared couple of millet recipes, do check it out. Millets, all varieties shouldn’t be consumed, I prefer only 5 Positive Millets should be consumed. That’s Foxtail, Barnyard,Kodo millet, little millet & browntop millet. Every 2 days 1 Millet or weekly once. Best If cooked in Iron Vessel.
