How to prepare tasty Knol khol curry/gedde kosu palya

With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare

Knol khol curry

Ingredients:

Knol khol 250 gms
Soaked Moong dal 1 cup
Water 1 cup
Oil 2 tbs
Coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 cup
Green chilies 4
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Asafetida 2 pinches
Salt To taste

Procedure:
Clean and grate knol khol ,take a thick bottom pan and add oil.
Once the oil is heated add mustard seeds and let it splutter and then add asafetida ,green chilies and coriander leaves. Sauté for a while and add moong dal and add water . when the dal is almost cooked add grated knol knol and add salt to taste and mix well.
