Ingredients of Kanch Kalar Kofta Curry Recipe:
1. Boiled raw banana/Kach kola (2 pcs).
2. Potatoes (2 medium sizes).
3. Dry peas paste (50 gm).
4. Flour
5. Chopped onion (2 medium sizes).
6. Sliced tomato (1 medium sizes).
7. Ginger paste
8. Garlic paste
9. Cumin seeds (½ tsp).
10. Turmeric powder
11. Cumin powder
12. Red chilli powder.
13. Garam masala powder
14. Slitted green chilli (4 no).
15. Salt
16. Sugar
17. Mustard oil.
18. Ghee.
19. Plain yogurt
20. Raisins.
Methods of How to cook Kach Kalar Kofta Curry:
1. First take a bowl. Add boiled raw banana ,dry peas paste, 1 medium size chopped onion, raisins, ¼ tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp ginger paste, ½ tsp garlic paste, ¼ tsp salt, and ¼ sp sugar. Mixed it well.
2. Add 2 tbsp of flour. Mixed it well.
3. Make smooth paste.
4. Heat the pan and add some oil. Fry the potatoes very well. Keep aside.
5. Add big amount of oil in hot pan.
6. Make the paste round shapes and deep fry the kofta balls very well. Keep aside.
7. Take 4 tbsp of mustard oil in hot pan for curry.
8. Add ½ tsp cumin seeds. Fry it for 10 min in medium flame.
9. Add 1 medium size chopped onion. Fry till become golden brown.
10. Add 1 tsp ginger and 1 tsp garlic paste. Fry it for 30 sec in medium flame.
11. Add sliced tomato and slitted green chillis. . Fry it for 1 min in medium flame.
12. Add ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp sugar. Mixed it well.
13. Add 2 tbsp of water. Mixed it well. Fry it for 2 min in medium flame.
14. Add 5 tbsp of plain yogurt. Mixed it well. Fry it for 30 sec in medium flame.
15. Add Fried potatoes. Mixed it well.
16. Add 1.5 cups water. When boiling close the lid for 10 min. Now cook in medium flame.
17. After 10 min add kofta balls. Now cook in high flame for3 min.
18. Taste it. Add more salt or sugar if required.
19. Add ½ tsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp ghee.
20. Put off gas oven. Close the lid for 5 min.
21. After 5 min serve hot Kanch Kolar Kofta curry with hot steamed rice, roti, paratha, pulao etc.
