Poli roll is a fantastic way to finish left over poli or chapatti. This tastes just awesome and is very easy to make. These become nice, crispy and crunchy. This can be a good travelling snack as they have shelf life of about 3-4 days. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Besan
• 1/4 cup Rice flour
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• A pinch of Ajwain / Carom seeds
• Green chili-Garlic paste
• Salt to taste
• Water
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Left over Chapatis
• Tamarind-Gudh pulp
• Oil for frying
Method:
• Take besan into a bowl.
• Add rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ajwain, green chili-garlic paste, salt and mix
well.
• Add a little water at a time and make thick batter.
• Add coriander leaves and mix well.
• You can add veggies like carrot, capsicum etc. in this batter.
• Take a chapatti and spread a spoonful mixture on it.
• Spread tamarind-gudh pulp on it.
• Cover it with another chapatti and spread the mixture again on it.
• Again spread tamarind-gudh pulp on it.
• Lift chapati from one side and make a roll of it.
• Cut the roll into 2 pieces.
• Heat up about 1” water at the base of the steamer.
• Transfer the rolls into the upper pot of the steamer and steam on medium heat for about 15-20
minutes.
• You can use cooker in place of steamer.
• Take the rolls out and cut them into pieces.
• You can have these pieces as it is. They taste nice.
• Heat up oil for frying.
• Drop the pieces into hot oil and fry well from both sides.
• After frying for about 2-3 minutes from each side, take the roll out, drain excess oil and transfer
them into a dish.
• You can shallow fry these rolls too.
• You can have these rolls as it is.

शिळी चपाती फेकण्यात जाउ नये. अन्य वाया जाऊ नये. म्हणुन ही कल्पना छान होती. पण खर्चीक आहे. तेल कीर्ती वापरलत. नुकसानकारक कल्पना होती ही.
