Ingredients:
1 cup steel cut oats
For seasoning:
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal /split black gram
1 tsp chana dal / split bengal gram
2 tbsp groundnut/peanuts
2 to 4 green chilies(chopped or slit)
1 small onion (optional)
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
Other ingredients:
1.5 cup water
1/4 to 1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
1 tsp salt or salt to taste
10 to 15 curry leaves
2 to 3 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves/cilantro
juice of half a lemon/lime
wash and peel a small carrot and grate it
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup fresh or frozen peas
you can add any vegetables which needs less time to cook

Very nice recipe. Thanks. I use ¾ pav of rawa for upma for two. So I'll have to use the same measure of rolled oats for upma for two people? Or lesser or more than that? Since the nature of both rawa and oats is quite different from each other
