Rawa Idli (Soft)
INGREDIENTS
Rawa – 1 Cup (Roasted in 2 Tsp of Ghee)
Thick Sour Curds – 1 Cup + Little
Green Chilli Paste – 1 Tsp
Finely Cut Onions – 2 Tblsps
Green Peas – 50 Gms
Salt – 1 Tsp
Cooking Soda – 1/2 Tsp
Grated Fresh Carrot – 1/4 Cup
Roasted Cashewnuts – 12
Oil – 3 Tblsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Black Gram Dhal – 1 Tsp
Bengal Gram Dhal – 2 Tsps

METHOD
1. Mix roasted rawa in sour curds without lumps.
2. Heat oil. Add seasonings and then onion.
3. Fry for 1-2 mins. Add peas, green chilli paste and pour over rawa batter.
4. Add salt and mix well.
5. Dissolve soda in 1 Tblsp curds and add to batter.
6. Heat a pressure cooker/idli vessel.
7. Grease the idli plates, sprinkle grated carrots.
8. Pour the batter in all the plates. Steam cook for 10 mins.
For Best Results:
Pre heating of steamer is must before keeping idli plates
