Vegetable Uthappam : Mallika Badrinath | Indian Food
INGREDIENTS:
Fermented dosa batter
Finely cut onions
Finely cut tomato
Grated carrot
Grated fresh coconut
Green peas
Sweet corn
Oil – as req
Sesame seeds- little
Curry leaves podi or dhaniya podi – to sprinkle on top
Soak & grind:
Raw rice- 1 cup
Idli rice- 2 cup
Rice flakes- 1 cup
Black gram dhal- ¾ cup
Toor dhal- ¼ cup
Salt – as req
METHOD:
1. Spread dosa like thick oothappam on top of a hot tawa.
2. Sprinkle mentioned vegetables, add oil liberally.
3. Cook on both sides. Sprinkle sesame seed and then prepared curry leaves podi on top. Sprinkle more oil on top.
4.Serve when it is done.
